Join our professional development trainer consultant list! Together4Children is committed to being a high-performing, inclusive organization. All trainers in good standing that meet the requirements are eligible to be considered as a T4C professional development consultant.
About the Position
Training consultants plan and implement professional leadership and management training sessions for childcare center administrators. Sessions must include engaging Power Point presentations and interactive activities that reflect adult learning styles.
Commitment and Requirements
Consultants who are selected are expected to be on the Texas Early Childhood Professional Development System Trainer Registry, adhere to T4C’s policies and procedures and work collaboratively with T4C staff to plan, prepare and deliver professional development trainings.

There are 2 steps in the application and selection process.
If you are interested in becoming a training consultant, please submit a professional resume and a personal statement (in Word or PDF format) to Kathy Keller at email@example.com.
Please send a professional resume that outlines your professional preparation; related professional training conducted during the past 3 years; your current Texas Trainer Registry number; and any publications, awards, or other noteworthy accomplishments within the past 5 years. Most people will find 2 to 3 pages sufficient to provide this information. Documents must be in PDF or Microsoft Word format.
Personal Statement- Relevant Professional Qualifications and Experiences
Please submit a personal statement describing why you are interested in serving as a professional development training consultant and the strengths you would bring to this role. You may choose how to organize your statement, but please address the following topics:
- how your interests and professional experience match the goals of Together4Children’s Core Values
- your specific content areas of knowledge and perspectives (for example, DAP, early childhood leadership, etc.) within the wide range of topics relevant to the early childhood profession
- your experience as a professional development trainer
Your personal statement should not exceed two typed pages, with margins of at least 1″ on all sides and a font size of 11 or greater. Personal statements must be in PDF or Microsoft Word format.
Resumes and personal statements are reviewed by the T4C’s Executive Team and evaluated based on expertise and relevant experience. Applicants are notified if they are selected to complete the full application.
