"Together for Children"

 2004 - 7th Annual MINI-MARCH

"LET YOUR FEET BE HEARD"

Kick-off  event for the "Month of the Child."

Children, their parents, families, and their child care providers (along  with  many childhood advocates) have fun, stomp their feet and sing an    original song entitled "Marching Together."

"Marching Together" to the tune of "Mulberry Bush"

This is the way we march together,
We march together, we march together.
This is the way we march together,
On a wonderful April day

Please wear the blue, to show you care
You don't abuse or treat us wrong
And if we're noisy when we play

Please turn around and count till ten.
One, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, ten...........

This is the way we march together.......
Please wear the red, to show you care
You immunize and feed us right
Please let us run, jump, and play

We really need the exercise.
Up, down, up, down, right, left, right, left, and turn around.

This is the way we march together.......
Please wear the yellow, to show you care

You educate and nurture us
WE need the smells, the sight,s and sounds
And soon enough you'll hear us sing.

A,b,c,d,e,f,g,h,i,j,k,l,m,n,o,p,q,r,s,t,u,v,w,x,y, and z.

This is the way we march together.......

Please wear the blue, red and yellow
to show you care in every way
And after this you'll see us smile
throughout our happy life.

If you're happy and you know it clap your hands
*Clap, clap*

If you're happy and you know it clap your hands
*Clap, clap*

If you're happy and you know it
And you really want to show it
If you're happy and you know it clap your hands
*Clap, Clap*
